Miles is an awesome dude. it’s hard to lose someone and even harder if that person happens to be your father. The person that has always been there for you....the person that would walk to the end of the universe for you. I moved out of state and when I lost my dad, I had no idea what to do or who to call. It was like being lost at sea with no shore in sight. I Googled funeral homes on my drive back to Oregon to take care of my father and that is how I came across Johnson Funeral Home. Like I said I was lost, so, I ended up just calling the funeral home and Miles answered the phone right away. All I had to was call the hospital where my father was kept and give them Miles phone number and he honestly took care of the rest. I wanted to keep things simple, I do not like funerals and my dad hated them; Miles understood and made things simple and easy to understand. Never once did I feel pressured to do something, he just made it easy and simple, and for me, that’s what I needed. The cost sheet was easy to understand and Miles walked through the process and answered any questions I had. I went with cremation per my father’s request and picked out a simple Walnut urn that I know my dad would like. From my first meeting with Miles to the moment I walked out the door with my father was about 7 days, I picked out an urn a couple days after our first meeting so it was a little delayed for me, hence the 7 days. I can honestly and sincerely say I cannot imagine going through this process with any other funeral director. Lastly, the fact that Miles send text messages is awesome, don't have to end school call him which is great. In the end, thank you Miles! -Dominic

We were so pleased with the level of service that we received for my dad’s burial. We had lots of complications getting things scheduled and they made it all go so smoothly. It is never easy to lose a loved one, but they made it so smooth and took away lots of the stress that can accompany the planning of a funeral service. Thanks so much.

My wife and I contacted Miles of Jackson Funeral Home to take care of my brother's cremation. Miles was personable, knowledgeable, and provided very courteous and prompt service when we needed it. I would highly recommend his service to anyone.

Our father had a heart attack in May. After having a stent put in, he was scheduled to be released on Monday morning. We got a call late Sunday night telling us he had had another heart attack and had died. Needless to say we were all in a state of shock. Didn't even know how to proceed.nnThe hospital gave us a list of funeral homes to call. By chance we called the Johnson Funeral Home. Dad must have been directing us as Miles was just what we needed in this terrible time.nnMiles walked us through the whole process. He really listened to us to learn what kind of man my father was (wonderful) and the type of send off he would have wanted (simple). He was extremely compassionate and helped us through our grieving process. In short, he is wonderful!nnNot that we want to work with him again for a long, long time (sorry, Miles), but he will be the one we call when the need arises again.
