My mother passed away at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart and I live in Canada. Steve Peterson was compassionate, understanding and very helpful in making funeral arrangements for my beloved mother. He helped pick out a beautiful casket, assisted with vault arrangements, flowers as well as transporting her in a dignified manner to her final resting place in Grand Rapids, Michigan.nnThe funeral home is beautiful and well maintained. I have worked with Stemm Lawson Peterson Staff since 1907 with issues of being out of state for long periods of time. We prearranged and finalized the funerals in 2014. The staff is very knowledgeable and compassionate. No question or request is too difficult to solve. There service is absolutely outstanding and dedicated to the care of the family.
