VCA Beech Grove Animal Hospital

Hard to get an appointment. Appointment are almost a month out.

I want to like this place but they just make it hard. The people are great to an extent, they are nice when talking to you and I feel like do a decent job with my animals. My problems with this comes from them canceling my cats spay, then rescheduled for a month later. This caused my cat to go into heat and still be in heat when she was dropped off. Well then they charged me more for the surgery because she was in heat. This was not our fault that they canceled the original surgery and then rescheduled for a month later. They should have recognized that it was indeed their fault that this occurred and not charged me extra. It cost me well over $200 more then I was initially told. I will not be going back here and honestly I think if you’re reading this it’s probably best to go elsewhere. I also feel like they push their flea and worm medicines on you like a doctor does a new prescription.

A very good and helpful place with loving and caring people. We had a very good experience with our little girl! They are great with dogs. They are fantastic when it comes to customer service. They also have plans to pay! A fantastic place!

Had a appointment for my dog to be seen before spade surgery, showed up and no one was there. They were closed due to not having enough employees. Found out though another VCA. I received no notification on them not being open. I called and explained this to them and they said they called. Very unprofessional. They didn't have enough employees to call and cancel the patients. Cause I received no call, text, or voicemail.The vet obviously doesn't care. My pet will go elsewhere.

The staff at the Beech Grove VCA were amazing! Our cats had to move to this location after the Shadeland location closed. They technicians and doctors here helped me get my anxious kitties in and out with ease during a time where I couldn't be in with them. One cat has a lot of anxiety so they prescribed a kitty sedative for her and she had a much better visit than ever before! She was so calm and I'm glad she didn't have the normal anxiety that starts as soon as the carriers are out in the house. The doctor was able to help with some issues that had arisen due to kitty stress and both cats are doing wonderfully. I am very happy with the service and care provided by this animal hospital.
