Indy Paws Veterinary Hospital

I took our family dog Nova to this veterinarian hospital.. I'm glad I did ...I grew up on a dairy farm.... I've owned dogs my whole life.... but I've never experienced such compassion and gentle handling of an animal as I did here...the previous veterinary we took Nova to had three people hold her down while they stabbed her to give her vaccination... Not didn't happen here... The veterinarian somehow relaxed our German Shepherd to the point where she was given a vaccination and didn't care.

They are really great people working here. They came right out to get my pet, and were quick with her appointment.

We brought our puppy in for booster shots and they ended up taking an x-ray and saying she needed immediate surgery. The X-ray quality was terrible and there were no other indicators that surgery was needed. Our puppy was happy and active, didn't seem to have any issues. They pressured us into the surgery and they didn't even fix the problem. We had to take her to a pet hospital where the vet told us he never would have recommended the surgery and after taking an xray there we found that the piece of metal still in her after the surgery. Now my pup is stuck in a cone on medications for an unnecessary surgery that didn't fix the problem. We've been to this place before but that was the last time. They're cheap and it really shows in their quality of work.

Dr. Wiley is a breathe of fresh air to me and my dogs.i have had beyond horrible experiences in the past with other vets around the area. I feel like they do care.. Definitely recomend!!

We have been using Indy Paws for our pets for several years, since we have lived in Indianapolis. Our sweet dog, Molly, was getting old and experiencing illness related to her age. Indy Paws was reasonable in their diagnostic tests, (not too many, not too few) and treatment. Unfortunately, Molly's condition was worsening so we took her to the vet on July 20, and they correctly diagnosed that she did not have long to live. I'm so grateful to them that they didn't suggest tests and hospital stays, and putting Molly through all of that, that they simply diagnosed that there was nothing more to be done. They also gave us assurance that Molly was not experiencing pain because of how her body was reacting. Before Molly left the vet's office that day, the vet tech pulled down her mask and gave Molly a kiss. Molly passed away at home a couple of hours after the vet appointment. I appreciate Indy Paws and their kind and compassionate care.
