Courtney designed the flowers for my daughter's wedding. Every arrangement, center piece and bouquet were amazing and totally exceeded our expectations. My daughter was ecstatic when she saw her bouquet! Courtney was a pleasure to work with and understood our needs. She took our ideas and created exactly what we had hoped for. I cannot recommend her and Violets are Blue highly enough!

Violets are Blue exceeded our expectations for our wedding flowers! Going into the planning appointment, we didn't know exactly what we wanted. Courtney had so many great ideas and helped us figure out what would look best, fit in with our vision, and not exceed our budget. Leading up to the wedding, any and all of questions were answered very quickly. On the wedding day, everything was delivered and set up on time. All of the wedding party flowers and centerpieces were absolutely beautiful! We look forward to working with Violets are Blue again in the future for all of our floral needs!

I came to Courtney with absolutely zero knowledge about florals/decor. Unfortunately, it is my nature to be extremely detail oriented and hold high expectations. So having a client who is picky and demanding while not knowing what to be picky and demanding about was definitely a challenge for Courtney (: Despite this, Courtney patiently and kindly listened to every concern, accommodated any changes to my original vision, and consistently assured me that everything would turn out beautifully (spoiler alert: she was right, it did). It was hard for me to translate everything I pictured in my head, but, somehow, she was able to pluck it from my mind and make it come to life. On the week of the wedding, she sent me pictures, FaceTimed me to ask what florals to include, what combinations I preferred, and helped to add last minute details to the centerpieces to really make them pop. On the day of my wedding, she made little adjustments to my bouquet to make it just right and it was stunning! When the curtains opened to begin my walk down the aisle, I burst into tears because a. I’m getting married but b. the ceremony space was dripping in candlelight just as I had imagined. It set the mood for the entire ceremony and flowed into the reception space where her florals and candle arrangements filled the room with celebration and warmth. Courtney is a wonderful florist but also a wonderful person. I will miss working with her greatly!

I cannot say enough positive things about Courtney and Violets Are Blue. She did all the florals for my June 2019 wedding. Courtney is extremely talented and provides florals to be reasonable within your budget. Courtney was available to me for planning meetings and very responsive to emails. She was organized and open to modifications throughout our planning process. She truly listens to a bride's vision and wants swatches of colors to get the perfect color match for her florals. Her floral arrangements WOW'd us! From the bouquets, to the centerpieces, to the garlands, fireplace mantels, and cake decoration…all of her floral designs were beyond our expectations. Her rental products including vases, candles, and gold frames also added to the overall beauty. I appreciated her suggestion to donate some of the flowers to the Indianapolis branch of Random Acts of Flowers, who picked up the floral arrangements from my reception venue the next day and repurposed them into floral bouquets for nursing homes, hospitalized patients, etc. I highly recommend Courtney and Violets are Blue Floral Design!
