Appreciated Earl Piper for preparing my mommas body so nicely, she looked very natural.

We have used Bond Mitchell for 2 funerals. The Director is more interested in selling over priced services and incompetent when it come to getting the graveside service at the correct site. The first funeral, for my grandmother, was not only set up in the wrong location, but her casket started sliding off during the service. For my Mother’s funeral, we discussed the previous situation and stressed the importance of having the service at her gravesites. The night before her service I went to the cemetery and noticed a place was roped off that was not the correct location. When we contacted Gary, he assured us that was for someone else and her service would be in the right location. We arrived, only to find my Mother’s final resting place had not been prepared. Once again they dug in the wrong location. Our family was forced to make a decision, “just use this spot” for the service and we will get it right afterwards or come back later. After a 2 hour intermission we returned to see there were not the number of chairs needed, dirt was all over the vault and the cross that was to be attached to the vault was broken. Gary was full of excuses and would not take responsibility for his actions. He only placed blame on others. Bond Mitchell Funeral home is insensitive, not detail oriented and try’s to take advantage of people during a time of grief.nnThank you Scott for reaching out and addressing our issues.

Everyone associated with Bond-Mitchell treated us with dignity and compassion. Our parents died only days apart. Scott was so helpful in planning a double funeral. Our mother had said for years she wanted her funeral to be a celebration. We are thankful for the way Scott guided us through this difficult time in our lives. He listened to what we wanted and needed and made helpful suggestions. With the help of Scott and others, it was a true celebration of their lives, complete with a tea party. I would recommend Bond Mitchell because in that Incredibly painful and stressful time, you need the service to be uncomplicated and to have great help and service doing justice to your loved one. Back in April the Cassiday Family lost our loving mother and the family of the Bond Mitchell Funeral Home could not have been more professional and caring in our time of need. They worked so well with us and met our needs, that in the time of our suffering it became a time of joyous remembrance of our loving mother, teacher and mentor to so many.
