Jewell -Rittman far exceeded what I thought a nursing home experience might be. At first I meet with Vernon and Karen on the Funeral process and options you could chose if you wanted.No pressure, just clear explanations. Vernon was the same as he took us through the entire process including the casket purchase. No Pressure. Just offered suggestions on questions we asked. When he committed to do something it was done in a timely and professional manner.nVernon was one of the kindest men you will ever meet.nnKaren is one of the most talented (and kind) person you will ever meet. She assisted us in creating a slide presentation of moms life that ran before the funeral and included pictures of mom's family and friends. Late minute change requests requests to the slide presentation were done quickly. She also helped with coordination of a few outside issues since we live 70 miles from Columbus.nWe meet the rest of the staff on the day of the funeral. Everything was executed professionally as promised.nnI would HIGHLY recommend them when you have need for an outstanding funeral home whether you live locally or have to coordinate from out of town for a funeral in Columbus.

my grandmother passed away. Her wishes to be cremated. The funeral home was told several times that we wanted be present at time of cremation. What did they do? Cremated her anyway with no one present. My mom called them and they happily told her “oh, i have her ashes on desk....” really... if David Horowitz was still around, I’d be calling him.

My mother had to be flown from Texas. They got everything done and the staff were just outstanding and accommodating. Such a sad experience for families But made so much easier because of their detail to provide and care given to us. Thank you.
