Let me start off by saying Sue was the best FLORIST I have dealt with in years. Her arrangements are second to none. I had a few different ideas but didn’t quite know how to articulate them. Sue spent time discussing the look we were trying to achieve. Sue gave our ideas vision and executed perfectly. For my daughter’s bridal bouquet I gave Sue my daughter’s baptismal hat and she wrapped her bouquet with the material. The flowers were magnificent and the two gardenias on the top of my daughter’s bouquet gave it that extra special touch. The corsages were unbelievable as were the boutonnières, and her maid of honors bouquet picked up the fall theme with the vibrant colors of fall. Her centerpieces were exquisite. My daughter’s wedding was in October and we were going for white pumpkin theme. We had white pumpkins in the centerpieces with fairy lights and ivory roses and flowers and gorgeous greenery. It was more than we could have ever expected. A Touch Of Elegance will be the only florist I will ever use again and highly recommend it. ...and days later I’m still enjoying them and the fragrance.

My Uncle passed away and COVID stopped me from flying home for his services. I decided to send flowers to let my family know that their Florida family would be with them in spirit. I have been living in Florida 34 years so I was no longer familiar with the area businesses. What I knew I wanted was to help a small business by patronizing their establishment. I happened upon A Touch of Elegance Florist on Franklin Avenue. Calling the shop, I get Sue. I explain to her that I needed something different, not like all the other arrangements you see at funeral services. I describe my uncle to her telling her how funny he was, but most of all how Irish he was. He was even born on St. Patrick’s Day. She suggests an Irish Clover!!! What a wonderful suggestion as his family would understand the significance of the arrangement. Her clover floral display was magnificent!! All I can say is thank you, Sue, for listening to my needs and creating a work of art that will be sure to make my family smile!! As an aside to the review of this wonderful florist, I tell my 92 year old mom about this florist and it’s location in Belleville. Mom says, “Is it 360 Franklin Avenue?” I quickly look up the address and lo and behold, this was my great grandmother’s home. My mom was born in the apartment behind the store front! What a coincidence!! It was meant to be!

It is a pleasure to deal with wonderful shop. Flowers are arranged beautifully and the service is a touch of the past with elegance. I would give 6 stars if I could. Dr Richard Kimmich Athens again .

I have been doing business with Sue at A Touch Of Elegance for many years now. I have gotten so many compliments on all the arrangements i have purchased. I always felt like i got more for my money. Blows my mind that some people would leave a bad review. I guess there are customers that you just cant make happy. If you want to impress anyone or show how much you care for someone I would definitely check this place out!

I called a week in advance to make an order for Valentines day. I told the woman on the phone I would be in a rush and I wanted to verify that my order would be ready as soon as I showed up and stressed how important this was. The woman on the phone assured me it would be and proceeded to take my credit card information. The woman then started bad mouthing the florist across the street, which I thought was extremely unprofessional stating that they take business from them and since my order will be prepared before I show up they want to make sure they don’t lose money if I accidentally go to the florist across the street. When I showed up to get my order my flowers weren’t ready at all and I had to wait for them to finish what they were doing before they started my bouquet. So I would have been charged for an order for no reason had I not shown up. While standing there waiting for the woman to start my order they talked me into getting a dozen roses instead of the six I initially asked for. Being in a rush I didn’t think to check the bouquet before I left. That was my mistake. There was only 10 roses in the bouquet when I finally checked it and the thorns weren’t removed so my girlfriend couldn’t even hold the flowers to put them in the vase. I understand it’s one of the busiest days of the year for a florist but how do you provide such poor customer service? The high google reviews made me choose this place over the florist across the street which I’ve gone to before and had great service with. That was a mistake.
