My dog was misdiagnosed. Took him in when I noticed his eye seemed to be sticking out more than usual, and his 3rd eye lid was showing a little more than I liked. There are 2 vets here. Dr. Yassin and Dr Herron. I was first seen by Dr Yassin. He examined the eye, couldn't figure out the problem, but said he wasn't in any pain, but gave me an extremely tiny eye ointment tube, smaller than my pinky which alone was $45 to put on him and said to come back in 2 weeks. That visit alone was over $300. There was no improvement, in fact the eye got worse, the 3rd eye was showing so much that started to block his vision. And started to become red. My poor dog. When I came back, Dr Herron saw us. She at least gave us no answer. Just to be seen costed us over $100, again no answers.Told us to go to an eye specialist. And so we went... $. That specialist looked at his eye for a second and knew it had nothing to do with his actual eye. To find out it was a tooth abscess. Fluid had built up behind his eye from a cut in his gum. In total it costed us over 4k. And because of all the delay, his eye has scar tissue from being pushed forward that its now permanent. That first visit, the vet told me my dog wasn't in any pain. I think anyone would be in his situation.

I've been going their for about 4 yrs now and completely love them, doctor does his very best to diagnose my fur baby. He basically saved her life with out breaking my pocket. Definitely recommend if you want a respectful staff and a great doctor.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Yaseen and his entire team!!!! They love my pug and he loves them back. The best vet practice in Passaic County, hands down!!

My dog is not easy at all, and they handled him pretty well. He came home in great spirits and not traumatized like he usually does from other places. The Doctor was great and honest and made us feel very comfortable.

Very highly recommend!!nnI brought my beagle here to be fixed and was extremely impressed start to finish. Any worries I had about my pet going in for surgery were gone after the first visit. It is easy to tell that that everyone working here loves animals and will care for your pet like it is their own.nnI also truly appreciated how well they operated during the COVID-19 distance restrictions. We never waited more than a few minutes for a vet technician to visit our car, to give paperwork or pickup our pet.nnWe will definitely be returning to Clifton Ave Animal in the future!
