I never really write reviews, but I had to write one for Shook Funeral Home. They are extremely professional, polite, and supportive. I'm grateful for the help and assistance. Thank you guys so much.

Thank you Shook Funeral Home.nnWith the sudden and tragic passing of my mother, the family not only had to deal with the saddening ordeal of our loss, but of the burdensome logistics of organizing a funeral.nnWe did our research for funeral homes. At this time of quarantine, many of the institutions were too busy to talk to us or help us. Influenced by their website with positive reviews, photos of their tasteful interior, and helpful resources, we reached out to Shook FH through email to get a conversation started. Their response was very prompt and thorough. We subsequently contacted them directly via phone to discuss prices and covid-safety restrictions for services. Tom, the director, was very pleasant and helpful, open with all information, and provided documentation for our review. (Let me just say that prices are pretty standard across the board, minus any extras that you may feel necessary to add to the day.) I felt confident with Shook, who proceeded with making arrangements based on trust.lnnAll details, legalities and paperwork were taken care of by Shook, which made the process very easy for the family, allowing us to focus on other matters.nnThe day of the funeral was limited to 10 persons, so we set up a private webcast of the event so that family members could join. There were complications and delays, but Tom was very patient, understanding and helpful at both the funeral home and cemetary. Shook Funeral Home itself is very clean and calming and inviting. The staff was extremely pleasant, sensitive and empathetic, and willing to help make the day as comfortable as possible for the family.nnI cannot emphasize how satisfied I am with the professionalism of Shook FH, and of how generous they were with servicing our needs. We never felt like business clients, but as part of their family.

I came to this funeral home on two separate occasions to pay my respects to two wonderful people and this funeral home did an amazing job
