Oradell Animal Hospital

We have been taking our dog here for cancer treatment and everyone has been wonderful. Even though we can't go inside with our dog, we feel confident in the treatment he is receiving. The doctors take the time to explain everything in detail and answer all questions. On his first visit Dr. Brenn spent over 45 minutes on the phone with us discussing our options and answering questions. Dr. Bailey also takes the time to explain everything and answer questions. The oncology techs are great and very helpful with suggestions and any questions we may have. Even the woman who checks in on everyone in the parking lot is so friendly and helpful - it's a nice touch to check on everyone that's waiting in their cars. The treatment is expensive, but not out of line from research we have done. We never feel rushed for payment if we can't pay immediately and they have never forced us to pay before the next visit, which is a big help during these times. Sometimes we just need a week to pay and it's nice not being pushed for payment. I highly recommend them!

I have a feeling all these 5 star reviews are fake and paid for or they have the people working there write them.nnHave an appointment for a spay at our normal vet (About $450) for tomorrow. My dog got very sick and needed to have it done as soon as possible. I called around trying to find a place with a surgeon for an emergency spay.nnThey wanted a regular emergency visit which I'm sure is already $500 and quoted me about $6000 for an emergency spay.nnWho has that kind of money right now with all this virus stuff shutting everything down? That is way beyond price gouging. It is criminal.nnThey are praying on desperate people in an emergency. I can't see how anyone with a conscious can work there. Claims to care for animals but really only cares about ripping people off. I understand a few hundred over normal due to an emergency. Not $5,500 over normal costs. If it's an emergency and you're not wealthy don't bother. Find an emergency place that actually cares about animals and not ripping off desperate people. I would give negative stars if possible and will be filling a complaint with the BBB. They are outrageous.n___________nIN RESPONSE to your reply. That was a phone quote for an emergency spay. So your whole concept of maybe she needed more stuff after they looked at her doesn't hold water. $6000 was a phone quote for an emergency spay only. You won't find our records because I won't bring her to a place that is beyond predatory with its attempts to fleece desperate people. BBB complaint has already been filed.

My very old dog was seen as an emergency for a tooth abscess. Although my personal interaction with the staff was curbside, they were professional and kind. Dr. Randolph was smart and attentive and helped us get through a very rough night. Two days later, he went for extensive tooth extractions with Dr. Bucciarelli. She is nothing short of amazing. Smart, professional, skilled, and understanding of how to treat a very old dog that unfortunately needed anesthesia. She kept me informed the whole day as to what was going on. The staff was extremely gentle and caring with my old friend. I would highly recommend the emergency, medical, and certainly the dental services of this hospital.

Tried to book a cardiology consultation with echo for my dog with an enlarged heart and CHF. Not taking appointments until mid January and extremely expensive. No sense of urgency or concern. They didn’t even offer a reference or any alternative options. They could simply care less. You can do better elsewhere. Stay away!!!!

We absolutely love the Oradell Animal Hospital team. It helps so much to know they see our furry family members as we do, family, and that they care about our fur babies total well being. Not just another sickness but what is best for them long term. We started going to them before we moved to the area and continue though we have moved a bit further away. Our favorite Dr is Jamie DeSantis (a talented Dr with a heart of pure gold who takes the time to explain to you what is happening and why) but we know, and have experienced, if he is not there we are in great hands. The Staff are amazing, kind, and warm. It can be hard loving a creature who can’t tell you what is wrong but the Oradell team makes it easier on everyone. Thank you. ud83dude1a
