Westwood Regional Veterinary Hospital

What a wonderful and comforting choice that we made to board our two 10-month-old French Bulldog puppies for a few nights. The process was SO user-friendly and I was able to call whenever and get updates. Westwood Regional Vet Hospital appears to be on the same level as Oradell because of the level of professional and genuine concern for our fur babies. I highly recommend. Also, their ER is phenomenal as I clipped one puppies’ nail too short a few months back. Not only did they demonstrate exceptional care for my pet, they did for me as well!

Westwood Veterinary Hospital, particularly Dr. McConnell, handled our emergency in a quick, caring manner. I was minding my son's cat which started to evidence paralysis in his hind legs. My daughter and I were very emotional and worried. After blood tests, Dr. McConnell took a lot of time to explain her diagnosis and therapies needed. She patiently answered our many questions. My son's cat has been happy and healthy ever since. Also the business office worked out an issue with billing, giving me a rebate. All in all, I would highly recommend Westwood Veterinary Hospital for one's pet.

I ended up taking my dog here as my Vet was closed on the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised at the facility. It is a brand new building with great facilities. I had a great experience with the vet but the only downside was that I ended up waiting quite a while for my dog to be seen. Also, because the place is also a daycare and boarding facility, the place was quite busy.

My friend had a positive experience but I did not. I have to call everyday, wait 10 minutes for a live person to be told a note was left for the doctor. I feel terrible harassing the front desk but they didn’t mind charging me over $500 for a 10 minute visit. Test results came in 24 hours after my appointment but It took 7 days to get a call about the test results for my dog. Now a month later still no doctor notes so I call now twice a day and told there is nothing I can do. My dog is sick and needs a second opinion and they don’t care. Tried to contact Keith Harris COOnbut they won’t give a voicemail or direct email. And I know they won’t give any refund even if I tried. It’s so frustrating that I had this experience. Good lucks to others but I want out of this place.

It was our first visit to Westwood Regional and it was a wonderful experience. Dr. McConnell spent so much time discussing the care and treatment for my dog. She was professional, thorough and explained everything in great detail. The facility is very clean and spacious. Comfortable waiting areas. I highly recommend it.
