I have been bringing my dogs to West Side Vet for over twenty years. I have found the doctors professional and loving and talented. No matter what we needed, no matter the situation my dogs ( all four of them!!) were in, emergency care or yearly exam the experiences were terrific. And West Side Vet has a wonderful support staff and people at the desk who know you and your dog by name. Highest recommendation.

Dr Colby is wonderful. So patient and kind. Really listened, and explained all of my options so thoroughly. HOWEVER, they do not let people inside, so if you don’t live nearby, maybe not your best choice. I had to wait outside for almost 90 minutes in 35 degree weather and don’t want to do that again

Came here with great recommendations from friends for my devon rex kitty. Here for a general first health check up, vaccines, stool checks etc. The staff from calling to make an appt for a first visit was very friendly, patient and kind. Answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Today was the visit, and again the staff that met me outside was friendly, knowledgeable and very gentle with my cat. They were on time and the office was well run. I got a call from Dr. Cantor to go over things and discuss routine treatment plans and etc. Very thorough and no pressure on anything. I asked for the works to make sure my cat is healthy and now I'm just waiting on lab results. Great vet practice, highly recommend!

Dr. Tamika Lewis is THE BEST. We trust her completely with our two Jack Russells for several years now. She works with a great team at every level of the vet center that clearly work very hard to meet the needs of their furry patients and their humans. Thank you for being such amazing care people for Uptown NYC pets!

I have never had a single bad experience. I've taken my puppy here since she was 8 weeks old. She's 6 months now, has had zero issues with the different vets she has seen or the staff.nnHer spay went amazingly and she was back to herself the second she got used to her cone at home. I'll definitely be coming here her entire life.
