I love this station and the 1 train. I get to work safe and early.

It's not easy to cross the street on that side after getting off the train station.

My local stop. Tip for the visitor: it’s much easier to board the train at the very front or the very rear of the station. If you stay in the middle near the stairs at rush hour, it’s hard to board, especially if you are in a large group..

Standard NY subway station. This one does look cleaner than others and also feels safer as it's staffed. Frequent No. Trains up and downtown, not that much at the weekend. Only one stop away from express trains at 96. They station hall often floods when it rains so bring appropriate shoes.

Did its job like any other subway station. Was clean and had enough people but was not crowded either. Connected to the 1 train which took us all over downtown. Felt safe in here, even at 5 am.
