This clinic is wonderful. They took very good care of both my cats on two separate occasions. One of them was terminally sick so unfortunately not much was possible to be done for her. The other One of required a very expensive treatment (our “luck”) that we couldn’t afford on an emergency basis, and they were able connect us with another clinic who saved our cats life at a reasonable price. I am forever grateful for their expedited care, attentiveness, and understanding beyond their scope of business.nnFor those who comment that the prices are high, they are but that’s what animal care costs. Pets are not live plush toys, they are members of our/your family and sometimes sh** happens. There are many health insurance providers out there that can provide you with pet insurance for a reasonable monthly fee. If you decide to get a pet, I encourage you to explore that avenue, in order to protect yourself financially and save your pets life if that time comes. We had that and we weren’t reimbursed 100% but we got some back (it’s the same with human insurance). I brought my cat in for what I thought was a urinary blockage. Luckily it turned out to be a less critical issue. The Dr and rest of the staff were great and very communicative. I had to leave my cat for a bit so they could do some tests. I appreciate that they called me to let me know the wait would be a little longer because they had more critical patients come in. The Dr called to explain the results, medication regime, and answer questions. Just really appreciate the kindness and communication, especially given that you can’t go into the office with your pet these days.

Due to COVID, all of our information was taken by phone as we waited out in the car, which was great. However, the visit was never completed. After taking ID and having us sign a payment agreement, we were told to expect a call shortly to complete a medical history for our dog. We waited about another hour before deciding to call in ourselves to ask why we never got said call. Was then informed that the wait would be an additional 2-3 hrs because they were waiting on a Dr to arrive.nIt would have been great to know this bit of information upon checking in, allowing us to make the decision as to whether or not we wanted to wait 4hrs for the service.nFinally got that call. While home, 3hrs later. Asking if we had our dog.

Our newly rescued dog who had suffered a traumatic injury to his hind limbs requiring surgery is completing his rehab at the Animal Specialty Center. The tailored program and communication from the docs and team members involved in his care has been spectacular. His progress has been remarkable. Home exercise tips have also been helpful. He looks forward to his visits!

I've always had a very pleasant experience here. My dog went for cancer treatment and was treated very well. He has been in remission for two years (he's 14 and we're enjoying every extra moment we have been given with him). The staff are simply the greatest, especially in Radiation and Medical Oncology.
