Dr. Rausch and his staff are literally life-savers for my senior lab. On a backpacking trip my dog swayed and collapsed several times. It was a terrifying experience. After going to the emergency vet who found a heart arrhythmia, we were referred to Portland Veterinary Cardiology. I was initially skeptical of all of the testing, but Dr. Rausch very clearly explained why he was taking the steps he was in order to find the cause of the arrhythmia and appropriately treat it. He and his staff answered all of my questions via phone and email promptly. In the end, my boy is now on a heart medication and he had 100% normal heartbeats at his last appointment. His energy levels are back to where they were a year ago. I can't thank Dr. Rausch and the staff at Portland Veterinary Cardiology enough for increasing my dog's quality of life.

Dr. Rausch is the most compassionate and informative doctor for your pet. He took the most a amazing care of our girl, Nala until the very end. He worked with her other doctors closely to offer her the best care possible. Would absolutely recommend, as parents of a pit bull who had seen many different cardiologists.

Our happy Lab, Bishop, has been under the expert care of Dr Rausch and his amazing team since he was diagnosed with serious heart disease seven years ago. Jack and I cannot say enough good things about the excellent care and loving attention lavished on our beloved dog. If your cherished pet requires cardiac services, you can't go wrong with Dr Rausch!!

Our cat needed emergency dental surgery and we had to have a vet cardiologist make sure he was okay for the surgery. Dr. Rausch got us in right away and did everything he needed to do. Our cat is hard to work with so I'm always nervous about taking him to the vet. Dr. Rausch and his whole staff were wonderful and T-Bone is doing very well now!
