This funeral home came and took our loved one away, but THEN THEY LOST THE BODY. Yes, really. They told us they had no paperwork of the body and that they did not have her. I am completely and utterly dismayed! They offered no explaination and said that we would have to call back!

Unexpected deaths are hard. Not knowing where to send the person is a hard decision. Peake was difficult and stressful to work with. They also told us they’d send us a photo of the deceased for my family to confirm. We immediately thought that would be traumatic, so we called another funeral company. The other company told us that they would never send us a photo, but that we would actually send them a photo to confirm. But based on the reviews, it seems peake has to put the liability on the customer based on their lost body reputation. We paid a fee to have my family member moved to a different funeral service who was sympathetic and great to work with.
