Jasper was overdue for a visit. Dr. van Suan (who we didn't meet due to contact less visit) called to see what questions and concerns I had. She suggested a blood panel and checked his teeth. She said he needed dental work and later sent an estimate. I received an email the next day with an explanation of his test results. She followed up quickly and didn't rush me on the phone. Other employees were nice and efficient. I've been coming here for seven years. Always helpful.

I am a new cat owner and this was my first visit to a vet office since adopting my kittens. My one baby started developing a rash and so after looking online I emailed City Cat Vets to ask about an appointment. They got back to me quickly and were even able to schedule me an appointment for the very next day due to someone canceling. They were so kind and walked me through every step of the process from dropping her off to her aftercare. I really felt like my cat was in great hands, they made the process completely painless for me, I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you City Cat Vets!

My senior cat has been going here for the last two years for check ups and vaccines and I just love them. I've never had to wait to long, they are very gentle and quick. They aren't pushy about add-on types of products and answer any questions you might have.

To the front desk, you are dealing with the public who are entrusting you to their family member. A living creature and for some the only comfort they have in their life. Treat people with compassion, care and calm. Most people will react in kind.nnExample of my experience. Arrived and got yelled at because of stepping over the line on the sidewalk, because you wouldn't speak loud enough until it was time to yell. Had a bill handed to me without any explanation. Had my cat put on the sidewalk without any acknowledgement that it was mine, whether my cat was ok during the day and if there were any questions. Afterwards, insurance company asked for information and had to ask for you to send it twice. Asked about getting some prescription or product to help with my cats teeth, no response.nnI hope this was the exception but I am seeing some common threads in the reviews. You have some great vets there and I don't think you are purposely being rude but it was an unfortunate experience.

They are like a small town vet. They care about your pets and treat you with a lot of kindness and compassion. Dr. Perner is always willing to talk by phone or email any time I have cat questions or need help. She doesn’t try to push expensive options you don’t really need. The attention my cats and I get is above and beyond. The front desk staff is also so friendly and helpful. They are all good people.
