This is a WARNING. Do NOT feed into that first client $20 exam fee. That is just to get you into the door. This doctor really tried to come at me with these outrageous fees for a visit I made because my dog was limping. After briefly examining my dog (and it was brief) He insisted on bloodwork and X-rays. The X-ray fees alone was over $550 because per the tech, part of their process was to send them out for another doctor to review. Then he said my dog has an ear infection and a tooth infection. When they gave me the initial treatment amount it didn’t even include any meds for pain or anything.nnI informed them that I wanted to get a second opinion, I paid the $27 exam fee grabbed my dog and immediately left.nnI contacted another vet in Philly and they had us come in right away.nnThis doctor examined Ginger very thoroughly and determined that she did have a cranial cruciate issue and would eventually need surgery. She also informed me that if I decided not to go with surgery, there were other pain management options available. She did not need to take any X-rays. She also said my dog had no ear infection but needed treatment for a tooth infection. My dog was dehydrated so she prescribed meds to treat that as well as Antibiotics and pain meds for her teeth. And something for her upset stomach. We walked out of this vet office paying less than $160, which included four different meds for my dog.nnLong story short, please don’t let this place fool you. He literally made up medical issues to get me to pay these outrageous fees. He needs to be reported.nnAlso, this facility is GROSS. I know vet offices are a little nasty but this place is super nasty. OMG. Take heed. Worse experience ever. Don’t go here
