Pet's Best Friend Veterinary Hospital

We recently had to put our ten year old dog down due to cancer. Everyone was so compassionate and kind from the point of diagnosis to the decision to put him down. I left the office sad for my loss, but reassured that we made the best choice for him. The Dr that helped us that day was amazing and kind. He was professional and was kind and loving to my dog. The techs that took care of him were also just wonderful.

I have had the pleasure of being a client to Pets Best Friend for many many years. The doctors, technicians and front desk people are kind, knowledgeable, caring and love what they do. They currently care for my senior rescue as well as our puppy. Each and every time I’ve had a issue outside of their normal care they have been responsive and helpful. I wouldn’t go any where else!!

They are the best! Our dog is a rescue and they were so patient with her when we started there, now she loves them. They are taking all precautions right now and giving extra love to the animals!

I believe I am a victim of preventive care overkill. After I added up the costs over a 10 month period, I paid 870.47 for examinations, tests, shots, rx etc. I am a senior and I do not have 800.00 to 1000.00 or more to spend on my pet every year for medical care. For instance , My pet was wearing a collar to prevent ticks, but the pet was scheduled to get a Lyme disease vaccine in September 2020. So I declined to make the appointment. My pet is also scheduled for a heartworm test in July 2021. My pet is presently taking a RX to prevent heartworm. So I am beginning to wonder about all the tests and vaccines they claim my pet needs. My pet stays indoors and only gets out four times a day on a leach and walks mostly on concrete or blacktop and just a minute or two on grass. I think a litttle research on my part is needed to see what care my dog needs based on my and his situation.

I had to change my review. Today I'm very concerned and the staff is being fantastic!nMy dog had surgery they removed some nodules that i didn't authorize. They didn't call timely. Made me wait an hour to puck up. Some of the staff are nice but most are clueless. I always have long waiting times. They are very mismanaged. The care is so so. My dog had a lump they missed.
