Mount Laurel Animal Hospital

Mount Laurel Animal Hospital took incredible care with my 4 year old parrot during a recent illness. Everyone, from their intake staff to their expert avian/exotic vets and techs and emergency medicine team, were skillful and compassionate. Because of our experience, we have decided to make them our primary veterinarians for our three parrots. I feel immense gratitude that this practice exists and will be recommending them to all the pet owners we know. Huge thank you to vet tech Angela and Dr. Bender for their patience in answering all of my questions (and I know I had many). You are deeply appreciated!

Very smooth exchange. The doctor called me and let me know that she is in perfect health. Super energetic super sweet. She was a good girl and I enjoyed the visit . I actually feel like I got more time with the doctor and the technicians than I normally do when I go inside. A plus plus

All i can say is its all about the money.

After unsuccessfully chasing a diagnosis with my regular vet, I took my cat to MLAH to first consult first with an internist, then oncology. The diagnosis, although grave, was made quickly and the doctors were so compassionate, warm, and eager to answer all of my questions. Emails to oncology were answered within the hour, call back requests were made promptly, and I never felt like I was being rushed off the phone. Fortunately cost wasn't an issue for me, but I appreciated the fact that the office staff were always up front with estimates of what to expect, bill-wise, so that there were no surprises.nnAlso, and perhaps most importantly, when I did have to make the painful decision to euthanize, my regular vet would NOT make an exception to his COVID policy of no one allowed in the building - so my little boy would have been all alone at the end. MLAH made the exception, not only allowing me but also my Mom into the hospital, letting us take all of the time we wanted with Midnight in private before and after we let him go. This meant more to me than anything - I would have been heartbroken if I couldn't be there with him as he took his last breath. The compassion they showed us was what I needed at that terrible time.nnSpecial shout outs to Dr. Byfield, Dr. Krick, and Dr. Friedenson for caring so much about my Midnight. Also many thanks to the various other staff, whose names I unfortunately didn't catch but were all such a pleasure to work with. I ultimately lost my little boy, but not for lack of care - he had a serious diagnosis with existing conditions - but they did a great job keeping him comfortable and giving me a precious extra 6 weeks with my baby. That time was priceless.
