With the utmost compassion and sincere feeling for the last posters situation with her dog (we all adore our babies) I feel the need to post my own review of Dr. Howe-Smith. In my experience he is the very BEST veterinarian I have ever known. Really believe most vets do honestly care about the animals they treat but Dr. Howe-Smith surpasses the expert level of knowledge let alone compassion. He really is a wonderful man who leaves no stone unturned finding answers to deal with difficult issues. I think he is probably one of the most brilliant people I've ever met. My own experience is that he saved my dog and has given us 4 years I know we would not have had if not for his initiative in looking for alternate approaches when all hope was lost. My dog, Rocky, is going on 20 yrs. old..has a lot of problems but when he started in a crisis state at age 16 with a collapsing trachea we met Dr. Russell Howe-Smith. Surgery for me was out of the question at 16..thank God for Dr. Russell! As to the staff..no one has a better staff from the desk to the techs, all support personnel go out of their way to help. No one can perform miracles and I know sometimes there isn't anything anyone can do, life just brings us what we dread. But Dr. Howe-Smith, at least in my opinion, more than knows what he is doing..goes above and beyond to help, try to find an answer. He runs a phenomenal practice and I am really sorry for her experience but couldn't leave that as the latest review on this terrific doctor.

Literally ruined my dog forever. Two thumbs down for Dr. Howe-Smith. They don't return calls/emails and you can't get an appointment for an emergency even when you call crying because your dog is having an emergency. Dr Howe-Smith comes off as a compassionate person but I've come to believe that he has a good heart, he just doesn't know what he's doing. He's not good at what he does. His course of treatment made my dog worse than before we ever went there, long story short. Now she is completely unable to walk. ZERO STARS. Very very disappointed. I'd have it out with this man if I could without being arrested.

We love Petpt!! My babies love Dr Taylor! I have a nervous nelly boxer/pittx and she was so kind and patient with him. She knew he was just a nervous boy and obviously did not see him as some potential bite risk. She won him over and offered multiple times to come by for “exams” where she will just do a little look over so he could get more comfortable at the vet. I just really appreciated that offer. I didn’t take her up on it because I didn’t want to take up her time. But when covid hit and I couldn’t come inside, I wasn’t even worried because I knew he was in such good hands with her and all the amazing techs!! I have gone multiple times during the pandemic and have not had any worries about my babies in their care. Thank you all so much! Everyone’s so great at Petpt :)

The progress our dog has made is fantastic. The cancelling / rescheduling of appointments and how late they run (30 minutes one visit, an hour the next) makes it hard to plan our day. Wish they could call in advance of the appointment to let us know they are running so far behind.

I can not say enough about Pet PT. They have been nothing short of amazing. The entire staff is wonderful. I know most places that work with animals are usually animal lovers. However, everyone here is on a completely different level of loving our fur babies. I started off going there for a CCL tear for my baby. And have honestly considered changing full veterinarian care over to Pet PT, when all is said and done. They are THAT great. And I love my current vet, but Pet PT is a different kind of love. I highly recommend Pet PT and all of their services.
