I called them before the appointment and asked what’s the price range would be for tooth extraction of 7 tooth for my pet, because our local vet already gave the diagnosis and the treatment plan, and the receptionist told me it’s going to be around 500-600$ with the consultation. And they end up telling me it’s gonna be 5000$. I traveled from New York just to know what I already knew and paid for consultation 190$. Not everyone can afford spending 190$ right now in this pandemic and a lot of people are unemployed. I wish people who answer the phone could gave me the realistic numbers, before I traveled all the way to New Jersey just to know that I can’t afford that procedure. One star for the doctor, he was really nice.

We made an appointment with VDS because our Rugby had a tooth infection and needed his teeth pulled. We called them before the appointment and asked what’s the price range would be for tooth extraction for Rugby, because our local vet already gave the diagnosis and the treatment plan, and the receptionist told me it’s going to be around 500-600$ with the consultation. Upon arrival, the doctor (Vet) came out to look at Rugby (8 lb. Yorkie), went back inside the building and had the receptionist call us to go over the pricing and treatment plan. And they end up telling me it’s gonna be $3800 - $5000. We asked the receptionist a lot of questions to understand how it cost so much more than originally quoted. They said times have changed since COVID and they need to pay their bills. So essentially, they are PRICE GOUGING everyone and those who can afford will pay. This is a bad business model and no one should be fooled to think these are ELITE Doctors are worth it. Take your pet to a real VET that cares and isn't in this business to rip people off!

This Veterinarian practice is like none other.nSo awesome, great care, kind, compassionate, courteous, and unique. Some doctors offices for humans could learn something from this place. I can’t say enough about the care they have given my cat. If there were more stars, they would get them. FANTASTIC!!!!!

I had the absolute best experience with VDS, Dr. Mendelsohn, and her team. As a lot of pet owners are, I was extremely nervous for my GSD, Ilka, to be put under anesthesia. I had called around to about 8 different offices and VDS stood out immediately. Their receptionist at Mount Laurel talked with me on the phone explaining everything from blood work, to antibiotics, to what to except the day of for over 20 minutes!!! I was blown away and could not wait to schedule with them! And to make things better, every other vet office had at least a 4 week wait, but VDS was able to schedule me for an appointment 2.5 weeks away. When your dog is in pain from a cracked molar, getting an appointment 2 weeks sooner than I could elsewhere was icing on the cake! Dr. Mendelsohn was so good with my large breed dog and not intimated at all, same with her staff. She took so much time explaining things to me as well on the morning I dropped her off and they all were so accommodating. I wish I knew the names of the woman working at the front desk as well as the male technician, but they were all lovely people! I felt to secure with leaving my pup in their hands. I felt like they really cared about her. And I felt even safer knowing their was a board certified anesthesiologist monitoring her. The receptionist even sent me a picture of Ilka after I had left! The follow up appointment 2 weeks post-op was free and again, Dr. Mendelsohn took her time answering all my questions and showing me how to properly brush her teeth. I will only be going to VDS for any of my pet's future dental needs!

First time patient. Great service, care and follow treatment. Our 6 year old pup was back to himself within 24 hours.
