Fredericktown Animal Hospital

Fredericktown Animal Hospital has great DVM’s, & a caring & devoted staff! Our almost 16 year old Aussie just passed, & they have always given her personal, professional care, along with some treats & petting every visit! Until she got old & didn’t like to ride much any more, she actually loved going there! I want to thank all of them, Dr.’s & staff, (especially Dr. Mier, who gave her the 1st “puppy shots!”), for taking good care of her for a long time, & allowing her to “pass” with dignity. Their sincere empathy & compassion was really appreciated, they knew she was much more than “just a dog” to us, she was family, & was so loved

brought my beautiful boston terrier who had not eaten 5 days. She was bleeding rectally like bright thick red blood. That was Oct 3rd.They tested her for parvo, but it was negative. So they diagnosed her with pancreatitis and sent home with antibiotics, nausea meds. We took her home from the veterans and things just got worse. We called first thing Monday morning the 5th and they wanted to see her again at 230 pm! At that point she couldn't hold down water or the nausea pill. She also did not have the strength to even walk. The dr this time gave her more nausea meds along with some thing to coat her stomach. BY the time we got home she couldn't even hold her head up or even able to walk. My only daughter Bella who saved my life with her love eveeyday made it to 9:06 am Tuesday morning literally 12 hours later she had passed. She was struggling to breathe. We tried giving her the stomach coater and anti nausea meds by by then she wàs already on her way out bc she threw up dark red vomit. We spent over 350 dollars on meds that didn't work. They never x-rayed her or to diagnose the real problem. Never offered to give her an iv or hospitalize her. In the end she struggled to breathe for two hours and when she was passing I had to restrain her legs bc she was scared and couldn't breathe.my wife and I both had to hold her and talk her through her passing so she wouldn't be scared and then we saw her last breath.nWe were charged for horrible service. I'm disabled with a broken back and I was discrimated against bc I'm not made of money and my beautiful daughter had to pay for thier discrimination and took 350 dollars to do nothing but kill my daughter.n7f you love your pets DO NOT bring them here. They offered no apologies, condolences or refunds for miss diagnosing our daughter and not even trying to save her bc for them we were trash and even though our daughter was always taken care of and was treated better than we treated ourselves but again I was discrimated bc of my disability and my daughter paid the price and now we were ripped off and our daughter paid the price

Apparently animal can’t have emergencies can’t happen on Sunday. Also the answering machine kept hanging up befor telling the Farmington number.
