My mom was Dorothea Lux. She requested her funeral here because of others she had attended. From the very beginning, all of the staff were courteous, sympathetic, and caring. They went out of their way to be extremely helpful in one of the most difficult times in our family's life. Special thank yous to Marsha and Rusty for taking excellent care of the obituary, music and flowers, and for handling all of the minute details in such a professional and caring way. Good place to go visit
Our family was extremely pleased with the caring and delicate way the Shadel's Colonial Chapel staff handled every tiny detail of our father's visitation, funeral, military honors, graveside services and the family luncheon. Every funeral my family has sadly had to make has been with Shadels. Respectful and caring services that will exceed your expectation.
They would not let me into a room alone with the cadavers. Now I am banned from the premises.
