Banfield saved my dog's life. Dr. B did an amazing job getting my sick old man in quickly, and diagnosing the problem. He was both honest and empathetic throughout the entire process. While it's well known that this is one of the pricier vet offices in town, in my experience they're completely worth the money. My sweet old man dog wouldn't have survived anaphylactic shock without their prompt, professional care.

I dropped my dog off at 9:30 for a shot and a toe nail trim. It's going on 4 hours, still haven't heard anything. They locked my account due to them incorrectly recording her records. They will not give me an answer about when I'm going to get my dog back. They are twice as expensive as her regular vet. Extremely displeased, I will never come here again.

This place is a scam!nnHad both of my pets on one of there wellness plans for a year, what told the wellness plan was a discount program, but when I called to cancel right before the 1st year was up I was informed that is was a payment plan for select services & that my pets had services that were already paid for with the plan that needed to be used before 08/25/20.nnI completely the whole 1st years worth of payment & Scheduled the services to be done on 08/24/20 with the staff at the Banfield location in Joplin, then upon arrival on the 24th was informed that the plan ended on 08/21/20 & that I would be charged extra for the visit that day.nnSo I was purposely misinformation by the staff & the appointment was purposely scheduled 2 days out from when the plan actually expired so that I could be charged additional money. Also, even though I had services that I had already paid for through the wellness plan, they would not honor them, again even though that had already been paid for!nnWill never be going back, & if you’re looking for a good place to take your fur babies, might I recommend Madison Pet Clinic in Webb City, Mo.nMadison is a bit out of the way from where I live, but they have excellent and caring staff & always do amazing work.nMadison Pet Clinic is well worth the extra couple of minutes of drive time, & I should have never tried to go to Banfield, PERIOD.
