Very friendly and take great care of my dogs. Been coming here for years. I've been to other veterinary offices and this one without a doubt is the best. I drive out of my way past probably 4 or 5 veterinary offices to come here.
Very caring, very professional, and affordable. I have been using them for 14 years, and just took my 14 year old there to end his journey.. Their process is amazing, and comfortable. Highly recommend!
I want to give a shoutout to kylie & Dr. Rooney for taking such good care of my far from happy cat on Monday (& about a week ago)! Dr. Rooney told us to call if she was not better within a week from our first visit. When I called Monday, he said to bring her on in again & he'd check her out. By the time I could pick her up, I had gotten a call from him, a very pleasant phone call from kylie, & she met me at the door, showed me a new food to buy, wrote down tips on a Post-It note & walked me out to my car! Chipman Animal Clinic really turned my bad day around!!
Loved the staff! They are so receptive to questions and go out of their way to help. I brought one if my foster dogs in for heartworm treatment. They made sure and explained everything so I could understand the whole process.
I like the veterinarian I've seen there, Dr. Rooney. He is the only Dr that's been available the 3 times I've gone here, even though there are 3 Doctors on staff. There are 2 female doctors and I usually prefer a female veterinarian. Each time I called to come in, the 2 females were either in surgery or they were off that day.nMy major complaint is the clinic doesn't make appointments! Yesterday I waited almost an hour to get my dog in. I called before taking her in and the receptionist said they weren't busy then. I got there 15 minutes later and there were 4 people before me.nThat shouldn't be a long wait at most clinics, assuming there are 3 Doctors working. But Dr. Rooney was apparently the only Dr. there out of the 3 on staff.nI've never had a vet clinic that is walk-in only, and since I moved to Independence, I've found that's the way many of the clinics are in the area.nVery frustrating. It makes me wish I was living back North of the MO River again.
