I absolutely cannot tell you how wonderful our experience has been with Ruth Ann and Walnut Lawn funeral home. Our relationship started a year ago when my mom passed away. My dad chose Walnut Lawn as he had been friends with the owner. We were assigned Ruth Ann and oh how she met our needs. It is an emotional time when you have lost your loved one and you have to do planning. She took us through the process with so much care and compassion. Absolutely never made us feel rushed. Everything is very organized and professional. I personally felt the pricing was very reasonable. Last week my dad passed away and of course we requested Ruth Ann. She continued with her organized very caring approach. She also remembered that dad wanted red, white and blue carnation around his urn. We had all forgot that. Thank goodness for Ruth Ann. Also knew dad wanted his urn to match mom’s and she made note of that. The color wasn’t available anymore but she carefully worked to get a color as close as possible. Walnut Lawns works efficiently and quickly. They take care of everything. We just wrote the obituary and sent to them. At the gravesite they had everything set up as we requested and the live-streaming feature is so nice with Covid. I will forever be indebted to Ruth Ann and Walnut Lawn. Also would like to add the gals who came to pick up mom and dad after they passed were so gentle with them. I so appreciated that. Top notch funeral home

Working in sensitive situations such as the passing of a loved one can be difficult. I appreciate that this company has made attempts to try to show respect, however they shared my messages to them with someone else my without permission. They need to work on privacy.

It is always tough when dealing with the loss of a loved one. There are other outside circumstances that can make that loss even more difficult. Throughout the entire process, I felt supported and that my wishes were respected and I am incredibly grateful that they were there to help.

The employees are very friendly and helpful and caring people during the time my grandma passed away and they helped us plan her funeral and they all treated us with alot of respect during the process It was very emotional for my family and I but they helped us in a very professional way I would highly recommend them to anyone

This Funeral Home went above and beyond for our family. They were more then just a place providing a service. Their kindness, sympathy, understanding and caring will never be forgotten. The chapel was beautiful, our family member looked wonderful. The slide show and music provided during the ceremony was perfectly put together.nFrom the first interaction with them to the final goodbye at graveside they were there for my husband's aunt and all our family. They handled difficult relatives with grace and patience.
