We had a dog emergency and I called like crazy every where and they told me to call this place to get help cause my puppy literally dying didn't matter cause I didn't have a account with them. The animal hospital didn't answer after 5 calls, I eventually got help from heart river animal hospital and they saved my puppy, kept him over night and he's a happy bouncy puppy again. If you need help and it can't wait please dont use this Lewis and Clark, instead I suggest using Heart River.

The staff is great and they take good care of my dogs. Would definitely recommend.

I have a chow chow, heard good reviews and decided to take her here. My dog is very cautious of new people/places. Only lasted about 5 minutes because my dog tried to bite the vet. The vet that she had was rude and not sympathetic. Also, I use 2 leashes on my dog (a regular leash/harness and a slip lead) for extra safety if she got off one of them. The vet rudely asked me why I had 2 leashes on my dog, which I’m not sure why that matters to them. The customer service ladies were very nice though.

Took my pup in for her yearly shots. And Couldn't ask other questions or would have gotten another office visit charge i think thats just wrong!!!!

I've been taking my dog here for several years without any real issues, but my dog is a frequent flyer for a specific infection - due to his very advanced age they can't fix the cause of it and so have just done antibiotics in the past. His vet usually just gave the antibiotics and only did office visits every few rounds since I very easily recognize the infected salivary gland. This time around they insisted on an office visit before doing antibiotics which would have been fine.....except they couldn't get him in for almost a week and kept repeating that we could bring him in for an expensive emergency visit for something we already know and have dealt with on this dog repeatedly and would have the same treatment plan. So it's either pay out a bunch of money to be told what we already know, or expect an almost 17-year-old dog to fight off an infection without medicine. They wouldn't even give us enough doses to last until we could bring him in for an appointment. I may have recommended this vet before, but it is now pretty obvious that money is more important than the health of their furry patients. I will be taking him elsewhere.
