Very kind and compassionate when we had to bring our cat in to be put to sleep after being shot by somebody. We couldn't go in because of the pandemic, but they made sure he wasn't alone and got lots of love and attention while they put him to sleep. Thanks for taking such great care of our baby boy when we couldn't be there with him.
They were good and professional but it did take 5 hours to get the x-rays back
I live 45 mins from Topeka so this is the emergency clinic my vet recommended if necessary. As luck would have it, my puppy had an emergency on a Sunday morning and had to be rushed in. Even during the pandemic the staff was extremely professional and by the books. The nurse met me outside and made sure my little guy was good with her before taking him away. I never actually got to meet the vet personally, but he called and told me what was going on and the plan of action. Minutes later the same nurse walked my dog back out and we were on our way. To my surprise I received a call from them a few days later checking in to see how my pup was doing and if I needed anything. Talk about going above and beyond!! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in times of an emergency!
Will drive to Kansas City if I ever need emergency help!nnMy cat got attacked early Sunday morning and I had no other option. No compassion from any of the staff and when I had to put my pet to sleep they didn't allow me into the building to say goodbye but instead brought my injured boy back out to my car. They also apparently couldn't be bothered to clean him up at all during the exam so im super unsure why I paid 75 dollars for an exam fee when they literally told me what I could see. The texh thanked me while handing me my dead pet.
We been her several times for after hours emergencies.... Staff very friendly, Dr Thayer very attentive and thorough. We will continue to use their services!
