I WOULD NEVER USE THIS FUNERAL SERVICE AGAIN...AND WOULD ADVICE YOU NOT TO.nNothing is worse than the death of a close family member. A funeral is the most somber and taxing event for the family and friends of the deceased. To have the burial ceremonies botched and then lied to only makes that sad day that much more difficult. To be marginalized and deceived by a person who uses the family's grief as a leverage of confusion makes it so much harder.nnBiglow Funeral Directors was chosen to perform a funeral for my son on 08/07/2020, our contact was Vincent Phillips.nnWe were extremely disappointed in the service provided by Biglow Funeral Directors due to the following issues:n1)tThe Limousines service was subpar. They were late, air-condition did not work and on one of them broke down.n2)tSomeone at the Funeral home either stole or removed the purchased flowers from the casket when confronted (Vincent Philliops) blamed the family.n3)tThe Funeral Director (Vincent Phillips) failed to purchase and/or have the casket vault delivered to the gravesite ontime and burial ceremony which caused immense anguish and additional grieve to the family.n4)tFailure to be transparent and acknowledge the mistakes. When confronted with the issues Vincent Phillips lied and deflected responsibility for all issues.nThe family ordered two limousines for the funeral. We were told by Vincent Phillips to meet at the family’s house the morning of the funeral at 10:00 for limousine pick-up, the funeral started at 11:00. The limos were 40 minutes late arriving at 10:40, subsequently the family arrives at the service at 11:10.nOnce there we noticed that the flowers purchased from Biglow Funeral Directors to cover the casket had been removed and replaced with a different arrangement. When confronted with questions on where the flowers for the casket were Vincent Phillips accused one of the family members of taking them, which would have been impossible since we were in the limousine and didn’t arrive until the beginning of the service.nnAfter the funeral service the limos were supposed to take the family to the cemetery for the burial. On the way the air condition in one of limos broke down and then the limo itself broke down twice in route to the cemetery which would explain why the limos were late in the first place.nnUpon arrival the family was directed to get out and go to a set of chairs with no shade in 93-degree weather. The casket was taken out and set about 2 yards from the hearse in the hot sun. After the short prayer I asked Vincent Phillips what was going on and what are we waiting for to move the body to the grave why are we waiting in this hot sun? He said that the cemetery had not prepared the grave and hat it would be another hour before my son could be buried. What he did not mention is that the delay was due to his negligence he had failed to order the vault that goes into the grave before the casket. HE ACTUALLY DIDNT ORDER THE VAULT UNTIL WE ARRIVED AT THE CEMETERY.nnI went to the office to speak to Vincent personally the Tuesday after the funeral and all that came out of his mouth were lies and deflection. NOT ONE WORD OF APOLOGY OR CONTRITION. Just lies!!

Vincent and his staff were amazing! They were kind and compassionate at a very difficult time! They were extremely helpful and patient thru the whole process!

Vincent was amazing during our time of loss and sadness. He and his staff were very kind and supportive. We were so uncertain during this time and didn’t know what to do. Thank you Vincent for allowing us our time with my mom y’all were amazing. Excellent service!!

Twice now I've had to use Vincent, he has gone up and beyond for me and my family. Vincent has done such a awesome job, I can not say enough about this great man and Biglow's.
