Great vet and very friendly office. They do not overcharge like other places and have taken great care of our pets and all their needs.

I have been using this vet for years and recommending them to all my friends. They are very polite and professional. The prices are reasonable and they are very helpful in difficult situations. Whenever I call, they always get me into see the veterinarian ASAP.

We’ve been taking our fur babies to Murlen Animal Clinic since 2002, when we got our Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. It’s close to home and we never had issues. Until recently. We found out from another vet that our terrier mutt, Stella, had a heart murmur. How on earth did the vet at Murlen never pick that up? Additionally, we found out she had a large tumor in her heart, and heart disease. We were hopeful that with medication, she would be okay. But then the other vet notified us that she also had Lyme Tick Disease and Rocky Mountain Fever. Again, we though that with medication, she would get back to normal. However, she passed away at Blue Pearl from congestive heart failure on July 12th. In the following weeks, we have received personalized and touching cards from the other vet, as well as Blue Pearl. We assumed we hadn’t heard anything from Murlen because we hadn’t notified them. But when we stopped in to get medication for our corgi puppy the other day, they said that they knew Stella died. That was it. No “I’m so sorry to hear that,” or “we’ve been thinking about you.” They knew that Stella, whom we’d been taking to Murlen for 7 years, had died— and they didn’t even have the decency to offer condolences, while vets we’d rarely or never been to sent us cards and flowers. They are cold people and have been doing this for so long that I think they just don’t care about the pets or their humans anymore. Do not go here. I urge you to take your pet somewhere that will pay attention and get them the proper help/diagnosis before it’s too late.
