I called to get some information on if it was safe for dogs to eat raw potatoes. Unfortunately my dog ate one this morning and wasn't feeling right. I looked up info online and was seeing conflicting information so I thought I would contact a vet. They informed me that since my dog had not been seen with them before that they could not tell me whether or not potatoes were poisonous to dogs. Clearly they only care about getting money from people for appointments and not helping pet owners take care of their animals.

Been going to these guys for years. They have friendly staff who've. They are always polite & the place is clean. They don't take appointments, but I've never had to wait very long to see the vet. Even when I've specified to see a certain one.nnOne of my dogs can be hard to win over & they've done a good job to make her feel comfortable during the visit.

Staff are great. They are so knowledgeable and helpful. The animals even love them.

Proceed with caution if you’re wanting a vet experience that is judgement free. Overall the experience was okay. However, the initial two phones calls dripped with judgement and frustration.nnCase and point, I call because my poor guy has a limpy paw — won’t put pressure on it. Lady on the phone is appalled I don’t have up-to-date vaccinations. So, naturally I ask questions to educate myself. You would’ve thought I was the biggest lug on the planet. Leaking with annoyance with every additional question that came out of my mouth. Great. I proceed to bring my dog to the vet (COVID rules say call when you arrive). So I do, and head back down the the judgement zone as I am now speaking to someone new. She says.. and I quote, “You’re dog is inactive in our system; I need to go down to the basement to get his file. Please hold.” Versus.. “Do you mind holding? I need to collect some further information.” What an opportunity to reactivate a client vs. create more frustration.nnIn the end, the protocols worked. The vet called me in the car, gave me great suggestions and information. And, the highlight of the entire experience was the kind kind dog nurse that returned my dog to me in the car afterwards.nnAn okay experience with a frustrating start.

Don’t think I can express how thankful I am for Dr Wilcox and the staff! Above and beyond for their patients and owners alike! Thank you for walking me through a tough situation with kindness and grace! 10 stars if I could!
