Sunrise Cremation

Wow! What can I say. First and foremost, the individual that I spoke to, (you know who you are) I asked for their name and they hung up on me. Well, all I have to say is, Karma. This person was not only rude to my mother, but he was extremely rude, condescending and even hung up the phone on me after I asked for his name. I called to figure out why no one seems to get my mother's name spelled correctly on my fathers death certificate. This will be the 3rd death certificate we will receive, if we even receive it, and hopefully her name is correctly. My mother's name is spelled correctly on the Sunrise contract form clear as day. At this point, we're unsure if it is incompetency or just done maliciously. My father passed in January. It is now July and we are still dealing with this. We understand the current situation with the pandemic, but it is July. We have and will always be respectful, neither my mother nor I was rude, however, I was stern and let him know that we have been extremely patient and respectful to this company everytime we've spoken. We needed answers today. We are going through enough. Plus, dealing with this extremely rude person...This is just added stress. 😔 This person kept repeating the same speech, over and over in a nasally, monotone, nonchalant and demeaning tone that "he faxed over the documents to the coroner's and they will contact your mom when they receive them". We contacted the coroner's office and they never received the information from this company. He also stated that the woman who worked our case was no longer employed there. So...does anyone take over after someone leaves, do we wait for their return or do we just have to wait for a miracle? After I asked for his name, he hung up the phone on me! This made me and my mother breakdown in tears because there is nothing we can do. She lost her husband, I lost my father, and now we have to deal with extremely rude people that lacks respect for others. Plus, this individual works at a crematorium! He is around our loved ones with this attitude. Who knows what they could have done to my father in that place! One thing people seem to have forgotten about is empathy and respect.

My Family has done business with Sunrise twice and I am going back there a third time. They were very good with us and handled our business professionally.

This Company has new owner's and there Motto is Family First. If you should have any problems at this Facility please ask to speak with the Customer Service Liason. And he will try his best to get to the bottom of the situation. This company strives to provide the best customer service possible.

This place should be out of business We dealt with Ellen, she has no passion for your loss, you are just a number to her and Thomas wasnt any better.... They are in a sad business and should show compassion for people not be so rude.... We called daily to get my brothers remains for his service and of course they didn't have him ready until a day after our service and we asked for the ashes to be split but when we picked up my brothers remains of course they didn't have any paperwork saying we wanted them split, liars...... Please Please Do Not use this service for your Loved one, Very Very Unprofessional and Very COLD......

They deserve no stars. I am only writing this review to warn other people. The price isn't worth it. The most unprofessional service I have ever worked with. Stacy Cotty is the worst director of crematory services and horrible person. It's been 2 months since my dad died, to this day he still isnt cremated!! She lost some of our paperwork, she is unorganized, no call backs, no replies to emails, and she got fired last week and left our cremation unfinished! Don't take your loved ones here, please. We should've taken the advice of the other bad reviews. This has been heartbreaking and stressful experience. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!
