Initially I was won over by Dr. MacKinnon’s level of patience, compassion, and knowledge. Unfortunately that level of service has dropped significantly since her departure, with subsequent visits with other doctors feeling rushed and uncaring. Originally I had convinced three friends to switch to Grand Valley, only to find out they have also found new providers after experiencing similar issues.
I think this is the best vet in town! Dr. M has taken care of many of our animals and always does a great job. He is caring to both animals and owners. The staff at the front desk and the techs are awesome too! Just an all around nice place to bring your pet.

I’ve taken my golden retriever here since they opened. I now bring my cat there. I love them!
