AWFUL SERVICE. two of the ladies with the funeral home came out to pick up a family member of mine who had passed away. They had asked if we had anyone willing to help them load since they didn’t have enough people. After telling them no they told us if we didn’t want to watch them prepare to take her to go in another room. My sister and I stayed to watch for comfort thinking it would be comforting. As we watched one of the ladies ripped my family member who had passed so hard to turn her that her neck went flying to the point I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t break one of my family members bones. I asked her if she could be a little more gentle. Keep in mind, I’ve take my EMT and graduating with my RN in less than 9 weeks. I know and have been taught to handle a dead body very gently and carefully. This lady turned around and told us we shouldn’t watch and basically if we make another comment we are going to lose the non attention grabbing mini van they came to pick my family member up in and she would just call an ambulance out as she didn’t like her work critiqued. My family really didn’t want a ambulance out there as we had already had a long enough busy week with hospice in and out so I had to go into the other room and not finish watching. God knows how they handled her the rest of the time. The lady then came into the room I was sitting in with the rest of my family and explained to us This is how they always do their work and I explained to her she needed to save her words and at the next family’s home she entered to someone who had just passed away that was loved to just at least pretend she had sympathy. She smiled. Rolled her eyes. Shook her head. And walked away. She loaded my family member into the van and came back into the house in tears asking me if she could tell me a story. At that point, she knowingly know she messed up and I had nothing left to hear or say to her and I had to leave. She made a difficult passing of a very loved family member all the more difficult. I’m sick that is who is in the hands of my loved family member. This company should be ashamed of the two women they have on board with them.

They provide a respectful, familial, and Christian setting for the time of passing for your loved ones.
