Blue Butterfly Florist

HORRIBLE.nnWell, where do I even begin? Lol. My fiancé and I are from New York and decided to book our wedding in Westerly, Rhode Island for Friday, June 12, 2020. We hired Blue Butterfly Florist for our arrangements and paid (a whopping) $1,621.25. As everyone knows, the COVID-19 pandemic hit around February and so on March 25 we finally made the decision to cancel our wedding. I personally reached out to my venue and vendors, and this includes the florist. So, from March 25 till now June 14 I HAVE YET to hear back from Rebecca (the owner.) I have emailed her personal email, I have called the store number which is now out of service / disconnected, and I’ve texted her cellphone and called and left voicemails. About 1 month ago I decided to contact the Better Business Bureau to file a claim against her and her business. She has yet to even reply to them, let alone me. Just yesterday I left a bad review on her “Blue Butterfly” Facebook page and realized today that she deleted my review. SHE IS SHADY. I feel absolutely angry and distraught that I have to go through this after having to cancel my wedding that I spent a whole year planning. This is NOT fair and I am literally being ROBBED by her. I don’t know why the hell she even has these many good reviews on here or her Facebook page, BUT I did notice a lot of them have “Silva” in their names which BTW is HER last name!! Lol SCAM ARTIST! She has also recently closed her store front completely and said that she will still be operating for weddings and events but this is bull**** considering the number she has listed to call is the DISCONNECTED store number. My next move will be to take her to court.

Becky went above and beyond our expectations with the flowers for our October wedding,nshe has a true talent. As soon as we sat down with her we knew she was the florist for us, her enthusiasm and love for what she does is unmistakable. As we told her our ideas she began pulling the most beautiful and creative stems from her cooler, it was clear we were on the same page. On our wedding day we were blown away with our centerpieces, our guests couldn’t wait to take them home and have been talking about them ever since.

I ordered flowers for my mom (her first anniversary without her life long partner) and she was so happy with them! She said they are gorgeous and they arrived on the right day. Thank you.

Got a beautiful Thanksgiving spray for table sent to me from this florist it didn't last long at all as I had to send owner PICTURES to prove it and person paid $80 for it!! When she called them with her disappointment she was told to have me come down and get another one thinking okay good customer service. I get down there and was told we ran out of flowers and basically they give me a spray with just greens NOTHING like the first one so I send photo of it to friend she was NOT HAPPY needless to say!nANOTHER example family member goes there which I wish I knew they did as I would have sent them somewhere else. Gets arrangement for special occasion was told it would be delivered the next day WELL here we are FOUR days later and the person NEVER got her flowers BEFORE her special day and not sure she has them yet!!
