Yumiko of Hana Floral Design is one of the best florists in the state. She is very passionate about what she designs for her clients. When I have the opportunity to photograph her work at weddings I am always really excited because I know I will see romantic and whimsical florals that really make your wedding or event! Gorgeous, gorgeous work. You cannot go wrong if you hire them!

I LOVED working with Yumiko for my wedding! I guess I would say I had some specific requests with how I wanted my tent to look (flowers in front of the stage, tall arrangements on certain tables & not others, greenery around the entrance of the tent, etc. ) and I knew my color scheme, but I did not have a great grasp of what type of flowers would work best for what I envisioned - so I put my trust completely in her team on that aspect. I had sent her some inspiration pictures early on in the process, but I actually got the chance to sit down with her in NYC to walk through my vision. She took the time to walk through every detail with me to make sure she was on the same page. I walked away from our meeting feeling SO confident that she understood my vision. The day of the wedding when I first saw my bouquet (before seeing the tent) I was so happy with the final product. They were a work of art. But when I saw my tent for the first time, thats when I was truly blown away. Yumiko and her team hit the nail on the head with every single aspect. Not one complaint. The quality of the flowers were insane I just wanted to bring them all home with me! All of my guests were so impressed with the whole set up, and the tent wouldn’t have had the same feel without these spectacular flowers! If flowers are a main focal point for your wedding, I would 100% hire Hana!

Her work is so jaw-droppingly beautiful that I couldn’t help but hire her. Not only did Yumiko make all of my floral Pinterest dreams come true, but she was so sweet and lovely to work with, and her expertise and experience in the field were evident. The florals were such a huge part of what made my wedding stunningly beautiful, and I would choose her again in a heartbeat!

Yumiko (owner) is an artist - her arrangements are litterally everything you could hope for. My bride, the guests, and everyone at our wedding could not stop talking about how beautiful the flowers were. Even the manliest of men were heard saying how blown away they were with the flowers.nnWe still have some centerpieces in our home 5 days later, that smell amazing.nnREASONS to use HANA FLORIST:nnYumiko cares about your wedding day - she gives great advice, is very flexible, and helps you locate and find other great vendors if you need. On our wedding day it rained - and she helped reconfigure the reception space to make for what turned out to be an even more beautiful indoor ceremony.nnTaste/quality - Yumiko has artistic sense that I think is unique to her. She is both down to earth, very classy and elegant.nnEverything is exactly as described and requested.
