I love this nursery. I was there recently to get vegetable plants for my brother's group home he is non verbal autistic. They have not been able to go to their workshop since March and growing vegetables is a great activity for them. I was so happy that at this late date in the growing season I was able to find a variety of plants. All of the people there are so thoughtful, support our local businesses. Thanks again to you.
The best nursery around. The owner Rick is always a huge help, along with all of the very knowledgeable staff. They have a great selection of plants, flowers, vegetables (organic and conventional), brush, trees, apple trees, fruit trees, annuals, and so much more. The staff wears masks and keeps a safe distance, but there is always someone to help you and answer questions. We have even had the owner come by our house to inspect issues pest issues with our plants and they offered a great solution that has done the trick. They make you feel like a part of their family and have been around for generations. So many more great things I could say, but go see for yourself!
This season is the first time I've used Cheshire Nursery for my gardening needs and they have been fabulous!! My first time doing raised beds and needed lots of guidance on what to use to fill them. I received great advice and have returned several times. Everyone is knowledgeable and very helpful. I love this place!!!
I used Cheshire nursery for a landscape project last spring, their design and sales team were very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out materials . Although their installation service was a disappointment and a rip-off ! As explained to their installation division , part of this project required moving several yards of topsoil (already on site) over to the area of the new privacy shrubs. These shrubs were being planted along the side of a property line berm and this soil was needed to complete the task , no soil was moved and the plants were basically just set in place, not planted . This was my main reason of hiring a contractor , to move soil ! .. After paying out premium prices for materials and labor charges for All PLANTINGS ,, The no return visit , having to finish this work myself along with adjusting several other trees that were left leaning credits this business with a poor review .
Amazing selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs and small trees. More expensive than the big box stores but very high quality. Good safety practices. Mainly outside. Happy I visited.
