I can't say enough good about New England Cat Care! During the pandemic, my older cat became quite ill and wasn't getting any better with the treatment of his vet. I was very reluctant to change vets however, not really knowing who I was turning him over to. No worries! I really feel that had I not switched, my cat would not be getting better. I have confidence in his treatment, have appreciated all their recommendations, and the time they have spent explaining things to me.nThese people are very caring cat experts!
My issue was handled swiftly and with great amounts of respect given to the management of the facility.
Wonderful staff. Great hands on approach to cat care. They are very thorough and explain everything. They will gladly give you an itemized bill so you know what to expect. Highly recommend New England Cat Care.
Dr. John was very caring and easy to communicate with, eager to share his deep knowledge about feline health. I am extremely happy to have my good buddy Gene under his care.
When I adopted my senior cat in 2013 we went to New England Cat Care and it was the perfect place. Mister was a very cantankerous guy, but lovable when he wasn't in the vet's office or having to be groomed by me (groomers refused to accept him after a couple of visits).nnDr. Richter, Dr. Arcuri and the staff are the best there is out there for cats in Connecticut. You aren't kept waiting and they don't rush you out of the visit. Thorough, and I do mean thorough, explanations are provided by Dr. Richter. When you have that lost look on your face, Dr. Richter will find another way to clarify what he is speaking about.nnI retired the middle of 2018 and moved to another state and had difficulty finding a good vet here, but finally found one. If I had not, I was more than willing to make the 3 1/2 hour drive back to Connecticut to a vet practice that I could trust.nnI know the pricing is a bit more than a general vet, but you get more than what you pay for with this practice. They are a warm, wonderful and compassionate practice that is well worth taking your cat to. They know how to handle cats without stressing the cat and owner out.
