We recently moved to the area and this was our first experience with Central. Our dog had an accident and we were very concerned. She was seen immediately and the staff --from vet to vet tech to receptionist -- was courteous, professional, caring and knowledgeable. We were very happy with the care our dog received and would absolutely come back here again.
I visited the hospital this morning around 4:30am with my elderly cat who was failing. She had been having difficulties during the previous week and it reached a critical level after I had visited my local vet 2 days prior. Jenna at the front desk was friendly and professional, both on the phone and in person. The doctor was thorough,nexplaining all the options in detail while taking into account my financial situation. He was also very sensitive and kind (while remaining professional) and made my difficult decision and the experience of putting my beautiful cat down more comfortable and somehow tolerable. My poor dog got sick. The staff was incredible. Front desk were so kind. They really listen to what is going on with your pet. I’m was so grateful for that.nnThe vet technician was soothing to the soul. The doctor was magnificent.nnThey take such great care of your pet. Glad they were open after my vet was closed. Best Emergency vet hospital around. Hands down.nnThank you
Central Hospital is the place to take your beloved pet, especially for emergency care. They understand how to triage base on need for care. My very sick was seen immediately and returned home a few days later cured and happy. The attention to detail and customer service during and after his release was second to none. Thank you, Central Hospital!
On Sunday, August 23, 2020 I noticed my pet conure Cheeko was not able to defecate. I noticed a blockage just outside the rectum. I considered it an emergency and decided to drive to Central with Cheeko.nWhile I was there, the hospital had several canine emergencies and understandably those critical emergencies had to be taken care of first.nnMy overall wait time was approximately 5 hours - which I did not mind. The removal of the blockage was a slow process....a little at a time and I am glad the vet who took care of Cheeko made sure the process was not rushed.nnMy only suggestion for improvement would be someone on the staff call out to you as you wait in the parking lot more often just to give an update. Perhaps an hourly update ? I found it stressful to wait long periods of time wondering what was going on.nnONCE I received a call telling me the process would take several hours, I was OK with the waiting period and very glad that Cheeko was being helped.nnThe few times I had to go inside to use the bathroom the staff was very pleasant and professional. The charge for their service was reasonable.nnIts good to know Central Vet Hospital is there for you 24 hours a day.
