Sunridge Animal Hospital

My grandparents are long term clients at this practice so I’ve started taking my pets here. They’ve always recommended this place but I’ve noticed the service has gone down. Anytime I call I’ve noticed the receptionists are always different & I’m always put on a hold, My questions are never answered, & I’m always given the excuse “I’m not sure, I’ll ask the head doctor & I’ll give you a call back tomorrow” of course though my calls are never return & I know it’s not the issue of not having my phone because I always give my phone number & the nature of my call. It’s incredibly infuriating but not as infuriating as the constant reminders that my pets need certain shots updated even after they’ve just had them, of course during my several calls to ask about this I’ve been assured that my pets have had their shots & that it’s a “glitch” in the system but if that’s the case then why when I bring them in for said shots it isn’t noticed in the system. I’ve been considering for awhile to switch practices seeing as my latest inquiry was about my pets dental issues. I arrived & was made to wait 15 minutes before someone came outside to collect my pet, I was assured that during the consultation I could come in & as the doctor a few questions that was not the case, Not even 10 minutes go by before he’s brought back out & the nurse literally said “his teeth aren’t good” as if I wasn’t aware of that & no other information. I wasn’t given a call back, an estimate & not even a scheduled time to set his surgery. If I can’t even get a call back why at all would I put my pet through that stress, spend money for a hospital that can’t even give me the courtesy of a call back.

About a month ago, and for first time, we lost one of our three lovely dogs. Her name was Dixie and she was a little chihuahua mix. The morning she got very sick, my parents happened upon Sunridge Animal Hospital. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for her at that point. Nonetheless, my family and I want to thank Hannah and Dr. Daniel for their kindness with our specific situation (especially during these covid times). They truly understand the meaning of: pets are family. Bring your pets here, you and your pets will be treated with respect and understanding at this hospital. Also, Dr. Daniel speaks English and Spanish and some of the other doctors and staff members are bilingual, as well. Their prices are very reasonable, too.

I have been there a handful of times since February and have been pleased overall. BUT, I would like to note that another client and I did not have our emails responded to. Mine was a simple appointment change. I ended up calling and Gina helped me. The receptionist staff are really helpful. You may also want to put a protocol in place to get clients back their test results. I was told I would receive a call the next day but did not. I called for them the day after and was helped immediately, which I really appreciated.

I have been taking my dogs to Sunridge Animal Hospital since Dr. Randy Ceballos opened the practice. Randy and his team are kind, caring people that will go above and beyond in the care of your pets. They are open 7 days a week, which you will appreciate when your pet requires care. Would highly recommend using their services.
