i have been coming to Chester vet for almost 40 years and would not even think of going anywhere else! they are the best there is. they really care for your pets plus they care for you also! even on crazy busy days it is a cheerful place with smiles all around. thank you Chester vat for being here! my girl is not the easiest to deal with but they bring her back to me with a smile (while adjusting their clothes and wiping sweat from their brow) KUDOs Chester vet!!! keep smiling!! :)

I can’t say enough amazing things about Chester Vet, Dr. Scher, Kathy the receptionist, and the amazing technicians. They truly take the time to ensure that your pet is healthy and that your questions are addressed. I found my kitten when he was about six weeks old without his mom or siblings. I immediately made an appointment with Dr. Scher with the fear that my cat was left behind by his mother because he was sick. Dr. Scher was able to pick up on my concern, and as soon as the exam was over she called me to tell me everything was okay!! I have never met a veterinarian that goes out of their way to speak to pet parents the way Dr. Scher does.nnIt doesn’t stop there! Kathy the receptionist is amazing in every way! She takes a true interest in my cat which makes me feel like I’m not just another customer. Took our 9 month old cat to be neutered today. This was the best veterinary experience I have ever had -although I’m sure the cat would disagree given the circumstances-and I didn’t even step foot in the building. They come out and get your pet and then bring them out to you when they’re done. Everything is explained clearly and compassionately. I had a million questions -from the beginning of the process starting with having to find a vet for my cats- to the procedure itself, they were patient, friendly and went beyond to try and answer me and be as helpful as possible. I’ll never go anywhere else for the needs of my pets.

Absolute BEST POSSIBLE experience! After lots of research, and recommendation from a number of others I decided to take the plunge and selected this practice to neuter my boys. Rabbits are very delicate surgically, and the way they are preformed is not the same as a dog or cat... therefore, it is exceedingly important to have the proper doctor and support staff! All of this occured amid our current COVID climate, including parking lot drop off and pick up. So, as you can imagine, this added a layer of anxiety to the whole thing, especially being a new client. My worry was for nothing. I received a call from the doctor post op and was assured all went smoothly. By mid afternoon I was able to pick them up. When the technicians brought them out it was obvious that all 3 of them were well cared for, happy and comfortable!! You'd literally have no idea they had been in for surgery. Chester Vet Clinic is not a short drive being about an hour's drive one way for me, but in all honesty, for this level of total experience with all of the staff I dealt with, from the original conversation with the manager, to the front desk who handle scheduling, check in & payment, the techs who clearly made my fur kids feel at home, to the exceptionally capable and caring veterinarian, I'd be willing to drive multiple hours to know it was this team caring for my pets. To top all of this off, they are priced very fairly for the specialized care provided. I know of a much closer practice who actually charges $600 -$800 for a single rabbit neuter and apparently gets some to pay that, while this practice makes it possible for the every day Joe to afford and provide for their pets needs.
