There are several stages to the responsibility Susan and Jason took on. It started with them patiently sitting with my wife and her mother to create a burial trust. They were wonderful in explaining the trust and why and how to create it. It very accurately represented my mother-in-law's wishes and that minimized the stress of future decisions because they were already made. Next was when she passed, 6 years later. Seamlessly, they provided retrieval after a single phone call and got the process rolling on everything else. They reviewed the plans with us and made sure we were still comfortable with yesteryear's decisions. Then they arranged everything with the church and the cemetery for all else to happen with ease and without problems. The process of the wake went very smooth and they were very attentive to everyone's needs. Their interface with the church service was nearly invisible and appropriately timed. When we arrived at the cemetery all was in place and ready for us. Start to finish, they get six out of five stars. When you are going through this you really need someone to be steering the ride. Susan and Jason made it all happen, on the right time-line, and well. We do highly recommend Montano-Shea Funeral Home. John & Grace

Thank you so much for all the many, many things you did to make the services so very special. She looked beautiful and the room and all the arrangements for the wake were beyond compare- absolutely perfect. Everyone was so appreciative of the slideshow - it was very moving and touching to me. Your extra attention to all the many details and the many extra things you did will always be remembered and appreciated.

The staff at Montano-Shea Funeral Home was friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. The day we had to come and sign off on documents, select urns, and complete everything was very difficult. But I never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. All the logistical items were clear, and they took the time to explain everything in detail. They took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was very much appreciated. They truly went above and beyond through the entire process. My family and I are extremely thankful for the kindness we were shown at Montano-Shea Funeral Home and we will always highly recommended them to all our friends and family.

17 of us travelled 3.5 hours to our beloved family members funeral and none of us heard a word of her service. There were no microphone/speakers working. How very disrespectful to her loving family.
