So thankful we found them! My previous veterinarian turned away my sick dog, fortunately, it was an allergy to a new food and she is fine. I thought that was just a fluke, no one is perfect all of the time. But then my ferret became sick and needed medical attention. Again I was told we would have to wait 3 wks for an appt...( BTW, I have never had any issues with my previous vet and I did not owe any money or anything they just didn’t care enough to even try to fit us in)... well I called Companion and they were probably the nicest office I have spoken to in a long while! I called on Tuesday and had an appt on Thursday! Remember, we were not an existing client and they still got us in within 2 days... at our appt they were so kind and you could tell they truly cared about the animals. End of story, 2 days later, our ferret is feeling much better and we have found our new forever vet! I can’t say enough how kind and helpful everyone was! They explained everything and didn’t mind all of my questions...And...the visit, plus a medication, was very affordable, as a single income household that was amazing to me as well. We will be moving all of our animals to them... anyone looking to make a change to an office that truly cares should do the same.nThanks for reading.

Carrie. Dr. Lamontagne, Dr. Hess and all the support staff are incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. They know when to refer out to an advanced veterinary hospital which I respect. I've been going there since 2005 with my 2 cats and 3 dogs. One of our cats and dog had to be euthanized and they did an exceptional and very caring service during our difficult decisions.

Our vet had retired. In looking for a new vet, a friend recommended the Companion Animal Hospital. Our dog became ill, so decided to give them a call.nOutstanding. From the reception counter, to the doctors. Modern medicine and knowledge. Very, very informative. NOT pushy . Gave us a couple of options on treatment and let us decide to go forward or wait to give us time to make a decision. Phone call follow up is almost immediate, if you have concerns or questions.nWe had the luxury of having both Dr Hess and Dr Lamontagne, take care of our puppy.nWe now have a new vet for our puppy and we are all happy.nA great place for both pets and owners.
