Absolute should be your first choice for funeral home. When my younger brother unexpectedly passed away earlier this year, the funeral planning fell to my sister and I. I called around to five funeral homes in the area and met in person with two. Its amazing how so many of the area funeral homes are instantly sizing you up to see how much they can up-sell you or wont give you any info unless you come in person to talk.nnFast forward to Carmen, I called and left a message and within 30 minutes had a call from Mr. Carmen himself offering his condolences. When I went in to meet with them in Avon, I met with Dan Kochapski who was the most caring and considerate funeral director. He walked me through the process, what was involved, options and costs and told me go home discuss with my parents and reach out to him when we were ready to go.nnDan was also very helpful in helping us find the coffin we wanted in our budget and also solving a very important documentation issue which took a few days as well. Overall the preparation and everything done by Dan and the Carmen team was exceptional and professional.
