When my boxer Sol developed an abscess on the side of her face/neck, that needed immediate attention, this Banfield location did not hesitate to see her right away. Sol has been a patient of Banfield's for the past almost 11 years. When I first signed up for the wellness plan, free walk-in visits were advertised as part of the coverage. Thankfully, my dog has not required much acute medial attention in her lifetime, but when she did need to be seen urgently, she was always able to be accommodated. However, this has proven to no longer be the case. I was turned away from multiple locations recently when trying to get her attention for an acute medical problem with the explanation that Banfield was for preventive, primary care medicine.nTherefore, I am even more so grateful to the Glastonbury Banfield team for being so responsive, willing to see her the same day, and for having provided such a great experience overall. The praise goes out not only to Dr. Benedek who was wonderful, down to earth, and honest, but also to the rest of the team: Christine, the practice manager, went out of her way to help me resolve some account/billing issues. Marcia and Melanie were also so kind and took great care of Sol. This is by far the best Banfield experience I have had in a long time. While there are several. Banfield locations closer to where I live, this practice is definitely worth the drive for me, and I will be back. Thank you for all you do, and the wonderful care you provide, for the pets and their families :) ... You are the best!

Since both of my cats were seen for their regular check ups at the beginning of September, they’ve been scratching and digging. My young kitty now has raw patches on both sides of his mouth, bald patches on his ears and face. My young kitty has been vomiting sometimes a few times a day, is often very lethargic and mopes around. I’m afraid to take him back to the animal death camp where it all began. I will find a new vet and will be seeking an attorney to recover my extreme costs for the very poor attention provided. These people should be shut down and incarcerated for animal abuse and cruelty. They spread diseases to your pets. The staff is rotated every time I go there, which is a red flag. When I arrived, I waited for several minutes while a receptionist was chatting up a potential date, rather than interacting with the line that got several people deep as she chatted. I asked if she were going to do her job or if I should go home and find another place to take my cats for proper care. Avoid this place. It is a disease-infested dump. The alleged vet said both cats had one ear infection each, but never said which ear. He gave drops and said to fill their ears with TEN DROPS TWICE A DAY BOTH EARS FOR FOURTEEN DAYS. Really? How about treat the one ear affected? And have you ever tried putting TEN DROPS in a cat’s ear? There’s not enough room in there. These people should truly be incarcerated for what they do to animals, without even flinching. Banfield will be getting the boot. $50 a month for each cat is far too much to fork over when all they end up with is some kind of infestation. Avoid this place at all costs. There are far better places than this unprofessional infectious disease mill.

My aunts dog is extremely sick, and they wouldn’t take him. What kind of vet “hospital” doesn’t take emergencies? They didn’t have a legitimate reason for not taking him, especially since it was super early and it wasn’t busy.

Initially i was apprehensive about the drop-off service bc my shepherd has separation anxiety. But I certainly understood with covid 19 and all. The staff was great, friendly, and obviously loves animals, and my pooch wasn't stressed but was content and happy at the the end of her visit.nnI'd recommend Banfield to everyone

Saw us without appointment because of an emergency. Helped us with two stray dogs we found. Very knowledgeable.
