Brought my 13 week old kitten Cher in for tummy issues. She was having chronic diarrhea for a week and a half and the meds I got from my primary vet weren’t enough. She was in so much discomfort, blood and mucus in her stool and went to the bathroom every 2 to 3 hours. I woke up in the morning and found her sleeping in her litter box surrounded by poop and I couldn’t bare to see her in discomfort any longer. The wait was a bit long like any typical emergency room, but staff and vet were very apologetic. I was there for about 4 hours overall, but someone from the staff called every hour with some sort of update on her. Granted it was a Saturday so a more busy day of the week and I also don’t mind waiting a bit longer if someone else’s pet is in more critical need.nnOverall, they set my kitty up with a thorough treatment plan that got her improving in less than 24 hours! Not only did her stool improve but her mood skyrocketed and she’s much more comfortable again.nnEveryone from the receptionist to the vet was professional, thorough, and friendly. I was referred to Shoreline by a family friend that’s been going to them for all their pet’s immediate care for over 30 years. I plan to be loyal here as well if anything happens to my baby in the future!

I brought my dog in because she was unable to walk. An hour and a half went by and I did not hear from anyone so I had to call them to get a status and after 1.5 hours of my poor dog just sitting there, they said they were very busy and the doctor hasn’t seen her yet. Another hour went by and I got a call from the doctor with an update. Now I am 2.5 hours in. They said they needed to take blood work and that the results wouldn’t be back for another hour!! Why they couldn’t do that in the initial 2.5 hours is beyond me. Another hour went by and no update so I had to call them again. Now they said the results are taking longer. I asked to take my dog into the car while we wait for the results but they said no. So another hour went by and I called again this time saying I want her released now even if they are not finished with the tests. In total my dog was in the hospital over 5.75 hours for just a check up and I did not get any more or better information than from the Internet. The amount of time it took was unreasonable, I was not given updates in a timely fashion and this caused more stress on my dog. And she was returned to me dehydrated! They couldn’t even give her water in her 6 hour stay. Would not recommend this place.

I took my dog in to see Dr. Galano who is the neurologist. She was such a wonderful and compassionate person who took the time to explain and rule out the cause of my dogs seizures. We had an appointment and didn't wait long at all. They were upfront about how much the tests would cost, so no surprises there. She also called my vet to explain her finding. And her tech Anna was wonderful and so sweet! I would definately use them agian for emergencees and highly reccommend the practice overall.

Shout out to this TEAM from the second I called with a family members dog breathing in distress to arriving at the hospital EVERYONE was amazing. Thank you for making my father in laws dog comfortable for his rainbow bridge ride. Much love to all of you for loving animals like they were your very own.
