I can’t believe Iv lived in the Flathead for 10+ years and just now started using Dr. Smiley. He came to my house to give a senior exam to one of my geriatric dogs, as well as an ultrasound to determine pregnancy on one of my show dogs. I found him to be extremely competent and concise. My dogs liked his gentle demeanor, even my behaviorally challenged senior. Ha. He did a great job explaining things to me and was proactive in treating my senior for her anxiety issues. -Excellent listener and very down to earth. Not to mention, he didn’t waste my time and money trying to sell me a bunch of stuff that my dogs don’t genuinely need. I highly recommend Dr. Smiley and plan on using him indefinitely. Iv seen a plethora of vets in the valley over the last 10 years trying to find the right fit. I honesty believe he’s one of the best, if not THE best, vet in the Flathead. Dr.Smiley has been my Minature horses vet since he was four months old. I feel very confident in the care he provides for him. He is always interested in answering my questions and giving me professional advice that I feel comes from not only his heart but also his extensive knowledge of animal health. He is very upfront on just exactly what he can provide. In a non-emergency situation he schedules my one little guy for visits when he is in the area, helping me save money. We are so fortunate to have him in are area.

Dr. Smiley was so compassionate towards us and our little girl that we had to put down. He was gentle and took his time during the entire process. So glad he was referred to us.

I just want to say THANK YOU for coming out and taking care of our sweet Pig Pig. I was highly impressed with the fact that you allowed my daughter's to watch the procedure, for teaching them(and me), for the kindness you showed them. Without the help of Dr. Smiley I would have not been able to travel and move with my pets back in February. I have a ferret cat which made it impossible for me to cage him. I would have to leave him behind if no one could cage him. Scott came over and got that cat in the cage in no time..but not without some skill and know -now! Thank you Scott!!
