Dr. Sam and the entire staff are so compassionate and caring. As a first time dog owner, they have put me at ease so many times during the first few months of having a puppy dealing with allergies. Dr. Sam always responds to texts and is incredibly thoughtful. Both my puppy and I love Westport Animal Hospital! Highly recommend.

My experience with Dr. Sam Selva and his staff is very satisfying. My kitty somehow seems to calm down in the office to the sound of the voices and hands on treatment. At his suggestion we give kitty Royal Canin cat treats after she eats and her teeth never need to be cleaned, avoiding a huge expense. We have boarded her there occasionally and she always comes back without any coughs or fleas. I think someone lives upstairs so the boarded animals are never left alone. It makes for a less worrisome experience. I also love the fact (having grown up in Westport) that the office is in one of the original houses on the Post Road. A few years ago Dr. Rocco Frank was the resident Dr. and he took good care of our other cat. Dr. Selva has carried on the warm, caring tradition.

Dr Sam Selva and his staff are terrific , caring and knowledgeable . He knows our 2 miniature poodles so well that they actually wag their tails when coming to visit him . Our 2 dogs are seniors now and require more attention these days . Dr Selva is always available for them, communicating even after hours with us to help provide guidance for their best care possible .

Dr. Sam and his staff are wonderful! They take care of my Luna every time and are accommodating when I need to take her for a quick visit . Dr. Sam is compassionate and knowledgeable, answers all my questions each time, and Luna loves going to them!
